Manuscripts submitted for publication should contain no materials that violate any copyright. Submission of a manuscript to Flower Research Journal involves the tacit assurance that no similar paper has been or will be submitted for publication in other journals. It is the responsibility of the authors, not the Flower Research Journal, to determine whether disclosure of their material requires the prior consent of other parties and to obtain that consent. Statements and opinions given in work published by Flower Research Journal are the expressions of the authors. Responsibility for the contents of published papers rests upon the authors, not the Flower Research Journal.Publication Type
The Flower Research Journal publishes four types of articles: original research articles, review articles, technical reports, and new cultivar introduction reports. Original research articles are intended to present significant and original contributions to the fields of floriculture crop cultivation, breeding, and genetics, and social horticulture. These manuscripts should clearly state the scope and purpose of the research, provide information that is objective and well-organized, and include conclusions that are well-supported by the data presented.Review articles offer a critical evaluation of the current state of knowledge on specific aspects of flower crops. Rather than simple literature surveys, these articles should provide a thorough and critical assessment of existing research, highlighting gaps and suggesting future directions.
Technical reports are designed to present brief but significant observations that do not require a full-length paper. These reports must include firm data and should not be considered preliminary observations. They are submitted and reviewed in the same manner as regular research articles and should not exceed 1300 words, excluding references and legends.
New cultivar introduction reports provide brief descriptions of newly developed cultivars that offer clear advantages in flower breeding and genetics. These reports should be concise and focus on the practical or research benefits of the new cultivar.
Each type of article has specific criteria and purposes, ensuring that the journal maintains high standards and delivers valuable information to its readership.
